Decluttering During a Relocation-deceased-estate-clean-out-sydney-rubbish-removal-001

If you find yourself nearing the end of your lease agreement for a residential or commercial property, or if you're preparing your house for sale before it hits the real estate market, engaging the services of a professional rubbish removal company can greatly simplify the task at hand.

Moving can be an overwhelming and stressful experience, with numerous tasks to organise and preparations to make. Having moved both my home and business multiple times, I can attest that hiring a professional rubbish removal company saved us significant time and spared us unnecessary anguish.

When a customer's parents transitioned to a retirement village last year, removing 50 years' worth of junk and unwanted items was mind-boggling.

They immediately realised that using skip bins would take them weeks, if not longer, to fill up four skips. Instead, they opted to hire a rubbish removal service in Sydney. This decision allowed them to delegate the most challenging aspects of the job, such as moving and disposing of heavy and awkward items, to a service that specialises in this type of work.

By hiring a rubbish removal company, they were able to:

  • Eliminate the need for strenuous lifting
  • Avoid multiple trips to the public tip
  • Find a reliable solution for disposing of unwanted items
  • Determine which items need recycling
  • Get rid of items that wouldn't be accepted during council cleanup
  • Swiftly tidied up the premises as the removal team took care of sorting items on-site

Some rubbish removal companies will donate unwanted items to charities or ensure recyclable components are correctly separated. Undertaking such tasks themselves would have taken them months.

Thank you

"I just want to say a big thank you for the fantastic job your team did for us. It was an emotional time for my parents, and Eddy's team were kind and caring and did our rubbish removal job without any fuss, even when my dad kept putting rubbish back in the garage! After weeks of trying to sort out 50+ years of house and garage items, it was such a relief to have someone come in and remove all the junk and rubbish for me."

Tips for Preparing Your Property

Ensure your property meets the required standards and is appropriately maintained. It's advisable to address minor or major repairs before the final inspection. The following checklist will guide you toward a successful inspection:

  • Assess whether the property has been damaged since your initial move-in.
  • Provide repair and maintenance records as requested by your landlord.
  • Repair or replace all appliances in working order at the start of your tenancy.
  • Comply with all rules and regulations pertaining to the rental unit.
  • Prioritise fixing any peeling paint on walls before the final inspection.
